A six day safari will take you to northern Tanzania’s very best parks for wildlife viewing. This safari is very flexible and easy to customize to your interests and for the best game viewing opportunities. For example, on a safari from June through November, we might suggest 2 nights in the Tarangire area to take advantage of the rare species like kudu and oryx, the healthy lion prides, and the enormous elephant herds you can see in the park. From December through May however, travelers may want to spend three nights in the Serengeti to take advantage of the amazing Serengeti migration. You can always contact us anytime to get our specific recommendations based on your dates of travel and your interests.
Lake Manyara is ideal for viewing birdlife with over 400 species. Tarangire is a beautiful park filled with baobabs and acacias with a large variety of game such as zebras, elephants, giraffes, and waterbuck. Ngorongoro is the largest intact crater in the world abundant with wild game including elephants, rhinos, cheetahs, lions, leopards, and hyenas. You will also visit the Serengeti, Tanzania’s most famous and largest national park and one of the most spectacular parks in the world. The “endless plains” cover some 14,763 square kilometers including large plains, short grass plains, kopjes, and lakes.
